Our practice delivery model is founded on several key principles and tenets that have proven to be central to successful health care facilities including an emphasis on evidence-based practice, multi-disciplinary collaboration, patient-focused treatment strategies and ongoing program analysis/evaluation. We wanted to bring our orthopedic/sports expertise to the community so that every person could benefit from the advanced diagnostic and treatment systems currently available. Whether you are a professional athlete in peak physical condition, or a person desiring to be in the best possible physical condition given their circumstances, both will have their needs met at QPT. We are a center for excellence for all people with differing levels of abilities. Reduce pain, restore function and return to work (or play) is our motto.
QPT is also a research center and has currently published material available for interested patients and referral sources. Our mission statement encompasses not only the treatment performance aspects of our centers, but also that they be centers of excellence for teaching and research. To this end, we are active in education by giving talks and seminars at national conferences but also workshops in ultrasonographic imaging and auriculo-therapy through our educational arm and sister company Biogenesis. We (Biogenesis) is an approved provider of CEU’s through the NATA-BOC, the MPTA, and the Michigan Board of Chiropractors.
We are currently involved in clinical research examining the sonographic reliability of ultrasound (US) imaging of musculoskeletal disorders as well as evaluating the validity of commonly used orthopedic tests in assessing the presence or absence or a target condition.
